My year in review

2010 is almost over. I'm thinking about the year a lot. My life has changed so much over the past year, and a lot of it was for the better.

My year in review (from what I can remember):

January:
Went to one of the most fun New Years' Eve parties that I can ever remember attending. I can just remember being surrounded by some of my favorite people and I remember I really loved that night.

February:
Nothing special comes to mind during this month. My sister celebrated her 22nd birthday. My best friend and I were both single for Valentine's Day so we went on a "friend date" together to the local Mongolian Grill and ate yummy food and talked about how boys can be so stupid.

March:
Really nothing comes to mind from this month. I'm pretty sure the new Alice in Wonderland movie came out this month because I remember seeing it with a friend.

April:
My best friend celebrated her birthday this month. That is mostly all I can remember.

May:
Went to "prom" (my school didn't call it prom, but that's essentially what it was). I also graduated from high school this month. I can't believe that was only 7 months ago. Feels like ages. I also went to see Minus The Bear for the first time. My family also adopted two kittens.

June:
My parents and my best friend's family gifted us with a vacation in Florida! It was one of the best vacations I can ever remember. We snorkeled in the Atlantic Ocean multiple times, visited Key Largo, went to Miami, spent WAY too much money shopping, and played video games (random?). I loved this month.

July:
Celebrated July 4th with my family. What I remember most from this month is relaxing. I was so glad to be back from my trip and officially done with high school.

August:
Went to college orientation. I was so nervous, yet excited to start this chapter in my life. A LOT of my friends moved away during this month. A lot of sadness on that note.

September:
Mostly I spent this month getting used to college life.

October:
My favorite time of year was quickly approaching! My family and I carved pumpkins (mine turned out awesome). We dressed up in costumes (because we're kids at heart). Probably had too much candy!

November:
My birthday month! A whole clan of my family, friends, and I went to a local bar to celebrate. It was crazy. I will probably never forget that night! It was so fun, and definitely hilarious. I remember I got asked to dance a lot and it made me feel incredibly shy.

December:
Obviously this month was consumed by my love for Christmas. I finished my first semester of college this month, I passed all my classes and finals and I am currently on a 6 week break from school. My parents, sister, her boyfriend, and my nephew celebrated Christmas at my parent's house on Christmas Eve, and then Christmas day we traveled to my Aunt's house where my whole extended family celebrated Christmas. I felt so spoiled, yet so blessed this month. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year.


Whew. Can't believe how fast 2010 flew by. This was a really awesome year. So much more happened than I can explain in words. I'm ready to see what 2011 has to offer!
